Because expensive Home Systems or Appliance repairs can be a major concern to Home buyers, The SafeClose™ Home Systems and Appliance Warranty provides low cost "peace of mind" during the home buying and selling process.
The SafeClose™ Home Systems and Appliance Warranty protects you from the high cost of repair due to unexpected breakdown of covered home systems and Appliances arising from normal wear and tear.
“Basic” Protection Program Coverage includes:
* Central Heating System
* Duct Work
* Interior Plumbing System
* Central Air Conditioning System
* Interior Electrical System
* Water Heater (if owned)
“Premium” Protection Coverage includes the following in addition to the “Basic” protection program:
* Refrigerator
* Built in dishwasher
* Range & stove
* Built in microwave
* Washer & dryer
* Garage door opener
* Garbage disposal
* Trash compactor
* Sump pump
* Range/fan/hood
* Swimming pool/ spa equipment
* Well pump
NOTE: Only items in proper working order at the time of application will be covered and in all cases, pre-existing conditions are not covered. Any deficiency found as a result of a buyer's home inspection or utility company hook-up, prior to closing will be considered a pre-existing condition and will not be covered under this agreement.
General Terms and Conditions
Service Agreement Limits
The maximum limit of coverage provided is $10,000 for the Basic Protection Program and $15,000 for the Premium Protection Program in any consecutive 12-month period* beginning on the Effective Date and subject to the following sub-limits:
- $3,000 for covered air conditioning and/or heat pump repairs
- $1,500 for boiler, steam, radiant or hot water heating system repairs
- Where dollar limits are offered for older appliances five years of age or older that limit represents the maximum that will be paid per contract term
You are responsible for the service call charge for each breakdown of each covered eligible home system or appliance.
"Special Bonus" coverage, with every SafeClose™ Home Systems and Appliance Warranty we include The SafeClose™ Home Closing Protection Program that provides you with up to $25,000 coverage at no additional cost.
